Trump’s new communications director Scaramucci called the leakers of confidential WH information intel “Un-American” and promised to take very serious action to stop them all.
After he was questioned about deleting his tweets showing views at odds with the President he told CBS’s Face the Nation:
“[Trump] is the commander-in-chief, the president of the United States. People that are standing around him that are doing that sort of nonsense are actually un-American.
“They’re doing an injustice to the institution of the American presidency. And we’re going to work very hard to change the culture of that.”
And Sunday on Fox News he stated: “If we don’t get the leaks stopped, I am a businessperson, and so I will take dramatic action to stop those leaks.”
He also said that leakers are “going to get fired. I’m just going to make it very, very clear, OK?
Scaramucci said that he has a meeting with the stuff on Monday.
“I’m not going to make any prejudgments about anybody on that staff. If they want to stay on the staff, they’re going to stop leaking.”
He also added, “If the leaks continue, we are strong as our weakest link. And I’ll say it a little differently in a pun. We’re strong as our weakest leak. So if you guys want to keep leaking, why don’t you guys all get together and make a decision as a team that you’re going to stop leaking?
He ended with saying that he will put an end to Trump’s problem.
“But if you’re going to keep leaking, I’m going to fire everybody. It’s just very binary.”
